An employee will receive paid time off, when necessary, for the death of an immediate family member. Here is an outline of the hours that can be taken consecutively for bereavement of a family member.

• Paid time off for the loss of a spouse or child is ten days
• Paid time off for the loss of a parent, sibling or grandchild is three days
• Paid time off for the loss of a grandparent or great grandparent is one day
